Art

 In art we have been learning how to do painting techniques with water colour paints. After they have dried we name the techniques. Last period we did this we drew flowers using water colour i drew a flower and truffles trees from the lorax. I don't really like the blue flower but the truffle trees came out good so i like them. I used intensity in the paints to strengthen the colours of the trees. I also used movement to create the fluffiness of the trees and the last one i used water into colour. I mix the water in the paint on the pallet and then put it on the paper to make the picture. 

Math 3D Art

 In my maths class we had to make a 3D art type thing i made one with a super hero trying to save people from a house on fire there is heaps of rectangles and squares and the stairs are at 90 degree angle

Drama

 in drama we have been learning to do theatre here are four different drama I/we have learnt 

Comedy,Tragedy,Melodrama,Physical Drama

A Tragedy is someone dies or something really bad happens 

we also played heaps of games my favourtie will probly be the mussem one were every one i on stage apart form the night gared kepper peson and you have to get in to a pose of somesort like a dinosur or somthing then youhave tp chage like move across the stage or down to the fooor 

Jane Addems

Today we watched a story about Jane Addams on story line online We did to do a series of questions my favourite part was when she built the playground

When she was a kid she had/her dad had a lot of money 

The hall house she started was 18 of September 1889

Her dad died in 1881

She went to Rockford female seminary 

She opened Hull house in Chicago for poor people to come to

She left the door unlocked so anybody could come at any time 

She didn't like receiving presents - she gave them away

Time line 

She grew up passing homeless/unfortunate people 

She would sneak out with her step brother to got climb things and explore 

She finished school but didn't know what to do

Two years later she travelled to Europe 

Seen people pleading for food etc 

Travelled back to London 

She built a house for people in need 

Then brought some land for a playground 

And then built more and more house to more people could be in need

Kete

 This was last term I forgot to post 

This terms kete we have been working on fashion and e-textiles our (Me aka Gemeve,Erin,Keah and Ayla )s idea was to make an entire outfit based in the year 2050 every group had to make some sort of clothing based on the year 2050 like what resources we might have, what type of clothing we might have and things we could add to clothing in the year 2050. Out problem was the environment being to got or cold so we would make clothing that could fix those based on the weather but then it changed to using old clothing to recycle them. We decided on making an entire outfit including a shirt,skirt,headband,shoes,socks and earrings. we all are cutting out old clothing so we can sew the skirt in a style of like plaid and different coloured squares all around it. The shirt we are just going to use an already made one because we only need to design one part of the outfit, we are making earrings and using old backings, making the headband. and Keah is bringing in her shoes and socks because she is going to be wearing the outfit.

I was surprised / was not surprised that Ping won the contest because 

I thought that he would tell the truth and either not show up or how up with no plant

If I was Ping, I would have tried and if i did not grow probably show up

The lesson from this folk tale is that telling the truth makes you go more far and reworded if you tell the truth

My folk tale is called little red riding hood don't trust people just because what they say
