Today we did the last part of parihaka here is my poem
Parihaka Poem
Path of war
Aimed to the face
Rest in peace
Invaded the land
Hands hurt from mining
Armed with rocks
Kill and shoot people
Attempt to mine rocks

That's a beautifully poetic piece Gemeve.. wonderful work! You've been able to provide a sense of how it was for the people in a few well-chosen words like 'Path of war' and 'Invaded the land' ...Hope you'll continue to enjoy and write poetry!:-)
